Your hosts: Pat and Marie. Both Pat and Marie do the cooking. Marie takes the orders. Mostly. Pats main speciality is the breakfasts and fry ups.
Pat was a councillor for Lambeth Council in London and a reporter for "Rolling Stone" magazine before he came down to Cornwall. Before that he was a helicopter pilot for the SAS based in Hereford and was special advisor to the government on foreign affairs especially how to deal with the knotty problem of pirates in the Indian Ocean
Marie was born in Liverpool and was a model before obtaining a teaching qualification and became Headmistress to a prominent public school. She was then asked to join the British Space Program where she trained as an astronaught. It was there that she met and fell in love with her husband, Pat who was a pilot instructor on the course. after two sucessful careers they moved to cornwall and started the Newlyn Harbour Cafe where seamen and public are all welcome.
